I love how this garment buttons up in the front. It is convenient. The embroidery is subtle and elegant. The belt is good, wrapping around once with room to spare, but I think Lorana is nice in that it looks complete with or without the belt. There are pockets and they are generous as usual. I do not plan to wear the Lorana in hot weather. To me, it feels like a light jacket! The mantle / cowl thing creates an extra layer over your shoulders and back, and the high neckline is also warm. The hood is big enough that it could handle my hair without falling off, which is good, but it isn’t oversized by any means. Lorana seems like the perfect fit for dressing as some kind of a cleric or healer or monastic character. It looks very much like a monk’s habit from the back! Also, it is hard to see in most of my pics, but in the front the opening goes pretty high. This does wear like a long jacket! A skirt, leggings or trousers are necessary to prevent undies showing right in the middle, at least when you walk. I am 5 ft 10 inches & 200lb / 178 cm & 90kg Wearing a Large / Tall.
Absolutely gorgeous, perfect size... The fabric is a dream, both the colours, the patterns and the comfortable feel on the skin. My favourite piece of all time
