I had to take apart two skirts and will be using the material for curtains or a bedspread. Sad because I love my skirts. the elastic wore out and there was really no way to replace it. I haven't bought anything from Holy recently but the other materials from a few years ago are beautiful and a nice weight. Miss wearing my skirts.
I love the way this moves and feels like a skirt, but with the comfort of trousers. I'd love to see a tall version as it hits me mid-shin. I'd probably get it in every colour!
I LOVE this Jasmine pant! My sister wears hers all the time and says they are very comfortable so I bought a pair for myself. I wear them so often that I bought 2 more colors. I love the modesty and freedom of a pant with a feel of a skirt. I wear them camping, to concerts, art fairs, out to dinner and almost always get comments and questions about them. Highly recommend trying them. I even bought my sister another pair n purple for her birthday. I'm 5'4" and 145lbs, size 8 pant/jean. The large is comfy on me but the crotch is a tad too long so I bought the next 2 pairs in medium. Medium fits and is not tight on me. They wash and dry well. My sister has had her first pair for 8 years and they are still in decent shape. If these had pockets they would be perfect.
The fabric of these pants seem thinner and more fragile than those purchased in the past. It looks like a ruffle or two may have been removed, as well. Given the price on these, I would expect a higher quality. Those that I had purchased in the past are superior to these.
I've bought these in every color over the years. LOVE them... I used them under skirts or dresses for renaissance faires. They look like a skirt underneath a shorter skirt or dress for a layered look. They help keep thighs from getting that nice summer raw rub while walking around in the heat. As with skirts, I've noticed swaying a bit while stopped/ listening to music at faire gives one that nice cooler air movement as the fabric fans one down a bit. I would not recommend drying them in the dryer. I usually line dry them, or use a clothing rack and let them hang dry. I put one pair in the dryer... not thinking about it, and they did shrink a tad. So line dry would be the best option for them. Takes a while because of all the lovely fabric on the bottom. I always have people asking about my outfits, as I make most... but always suggest these awesome Jasmine pants. They are very comfortable to just lounge around in too.
