I have worn this very dress just a few times and each time I get so many compliments on how beautiful it is and how nice I look in it. I even had 15-year-old young man come up to me and tell me he loved my dress and thought it was so beautiful on me. I was so shocked!! I gave him a hug and told him thank you!

I love the color (burgundy wine), it's rich and very true to my expectations. The fabric is much lighter than I had anticipated, although that is not a complaint. The sleeves are perfect because I will wear it everywhere and they are more traditional than the dresses that have the absolute "Ren" look. The dress fits me really well through the bust and torso thanks to the lacing in the front. My only complaint is that find I myself very conscious of my bra-straps which are constantly exposed as well as a bit more cleavage than I am accustomed to showing. (Posted on 7/7/12)

I just wanted to say that I absolutely love this dress. I am a plus size woman and I will say that I was a little nervous ordering this dress, but when this dress came it was a perfect fit and felt so good. This is an awesome dress. It is so pretty and feminine and very figure flattering.The elastic back/corset illusion is much more comfortable than a true corset, but gives that same fitted silhouette. I wore this to a Renaissance Faire yesterday and got compliments the entire day. (Posted on 6/4/12)

This is a really sweet dress. I have ordered one in the rose color and cannot wait for it to arrive. I am a Ren fan and have attended a lot of Ren fairs over the last 15 years. These dresses are so the era, but can be worn outside of that too. They look so comfy, light and airy! I will definitely be purchasing more. I reminds me of my favorite era in history and I can't wait til I can get it. I plan on getting the Lavender Blue or Purple Passion. Since I wear a 4X I think this dress would be flattering to me.
