General Questions:
Q. How do I find the available sizes and colors of a particular garment?
A. Colors can be found by using the 'select color' drop down box on the item detail page. Sizes can be found by searching with our garment finder. For example select Dresses & 5X to view all 5X Dresses.
Q. Will this garment fit me?
A. You will find two sets of measurements on our item pages, both of which will help you select the proper sized garment.
To determine the right size to order:
Step 1. Match your body measurements to the "Your Body Size Measurements" chart below. This will give you a good idea of the size to choose. If you are between sizes, order the larger size.
Step 2. Check the "Actual Garment Measurements" (on the product page) to make sure the length is right for you.

Q. Should I wash my new HolyClothing garment before wearing?
A. Yes, we strongly recommend that you wash your new HolyClothing garment before wearing as there may be dyeing residues (from the vintage wash process) still in the fabric.
Q. How should I wash my HolyClothing garment?
A. All of our garments are pre-washed and can be machine washed on delicate mode in cold water. Turn inside out and wash separately. You may prefer to hand wash more delicate items by hand with mild soap. Line dry or tumble dry on gentle-low heat. For best results, all HolyClothing garments should be ironed inside out at medium heat. (Our Velvet & Satin cloaks can be washed in cold water, but for best results, we recommend dry-cleaning.)
Q. Can I color match separate garments that I buy from HolyClothing?
A. Since we hand dye our garments in small batches, the shades may vary from batch to batch. We are working with the dyer to ensure consistent color matching; however, we cannot guarantee that items will match each other. Sets will always match as they are produced from the same dye lot.
Q. Is the color of the garment exactly as I see it on my computer monitor?
A. Not necessarily. The Studio Lighting we use to photograph the garment is the best on the market, as is our digital camera. However, studio lighting will sometimes make colors appear slightly different than they really are (sometimes brighter or in a different shade). The settings on your computer monitor are also a factor; different monitors may show different shades for the same item.
Q. What sort of dyeing is used in HolyClothing garments?
A. All of our garments are Hand-Dyed using a Vintage-Wash process which gives the garments a wonderful depth, contrast and personality all their own.
Q. What sort of fabric is used in HolyClothing garments?
A. Most of our garments are made from butter-soft premium quality Viscose which is similar in feel to cotton but is actually softer than cotton - with a tighter weave that is more durable for embroidering. We also use premium quality Satin, Velvet, Jacquard and various Laces.
Q. What sort of stitching is used in HolyClothing garments?
A. All HolyClothing items are made by us in our own factory - to the highest standards. This means double-stitching, over-locked seams & side stitching on all of our garments. We never cut corners and use the highest quality viscose, velvet, satin, jacquard and laces.
Q. Do you offer discounts?
A. For wholesale pricing on orders of 25 items or more, please email us for details.
Q. Is the other item in the picture available?
A. The other item in the picture is purely for illustrative purposes and is intended to show how the garment can look alongside another. As our listings are changing constantly, so to is availability of certain garments. If the item is available, then it can be searched for using our search facility.

Q. I have registered in the store previously, but I am having trouble logging in. What should I do?
A. We launched our new store March 21, 2011. Since this is an all-new webstore, your previous login will not work. You will need to re-register your account and shipping details in the new store. To do so, please click here. If you require assistance, please contact us.
Q. I no longer want the garment. Can I cancel this or exchange for another garment?
A. Unfortunately we are not set up for exchanging garments. If you would like to cancel an item, please contact us before you pay for your order.
What forms of payment do you accept?
A. We accept PayPal, Visa & Mastercard. Please note we DO NOT accept money orders, cash or checks.
Please note that credit card issuing banks may charge you an international transaction fee, normally of $1 or $2 per transaction. Please check with your credit card issuing bank for details.
Q. I would like a total sent to me with details of my order and shipping – will you send it me?
A. When you are finished shopping please proceed to checkout, choose your preferred shipping method and the total amount due will be calculated (including discount for multiple shipping).
Q. How do I maximize shipping discounts?
A. You can combine items into 1 checkout to maximize savings on shipping. The more you buy the more you'll save. Shipping discounts are automatically calculated during our checkout.
Q. I have been through checkout but I cannot pay – what do I do?
A. Please try again to checkout and pay. Sometimes there is simply a temporary computer glitch that prevents the customer from checking out.
If you are still having problems, please let us know and we can send you a PayPal money request for the total.
Q. There is an item missing from checkout – what should I do?
A. Sometimes an error of some sort will prevent an item from being processed into checkout. If this is the case we will contact our checkout department to add the item into checkout. This process typically takes 24-48 hours.
Q. Can I bill the order to myself and ship to a different address?
A. Yes. You may find it convenient to ship to your business or work address, or, gift a long-distance friend with HolyClothing.
Shipping Questions:
Q. Will I have to pay duty on my parcel?
A. 99% of postal parcels we ship are never charged duty. FedEx parcels are charged duty slightly more often than postal parcels. Please note that the customer is responsible to pay any duty/taxes/handling fees that may be applied by customs.
Q. How much will my order cost to ship?

Q. How many delivery attempts will be made to my address?
A. The Post Office normally makes 2 delivery attempts to your address. However sometimes they only attempt 1 delivery. They should leave a notice at your address asking you to arrange pick-up from the local Post Office. Fedex will always make 3 delivery attempts to your address.
Q. What happens if my parcel is returned to sender?
A. If you do not pick-up your parcel from your Post-Office it will be returned to us after 30 days. If Fedex makes 3 unsuccessful delivery attempts your parcel will be returned to us. Once returned to us, we will notify you via email. You will be refunded the item amount less a 25% re-stocking fee.
Q. My package still hasn't arrived after your recommended delivery times – what should I do?
A. Please contact your local Post Office to check if they are holding the package. Please ensure you speak to the International Postal Section as all orders are shipped from our Indian office. The Post Office may have attempted to deliver your order already and may be holding it there. The will keep a parcel for 30 days from delivery. After 30 days it will be returned to us. For Fedex orders, please email us and we will be able to track your order in real time.

Q. I have decided the garment is not what I want can I return it?
A. Yes, we have an unconditional return policy on all items purchased. If item(s) are returned (postmarked within thirty (30) days of receipt), we will refund your garment purchase price amount (but not shipping/insurance).
- Items may be returned for a refund of your garment purchase price amount (not shipping/insurance). Item must be unworn with all original tags. No Return Authorization is needed.
- Returns from USA & Canada should be sent to: HolyClothing Returns Dept., 807 Airport Access Rd. Unit D, Traverse City, MI 49686 USA.
- Returns from All Other Countries should be sent to: Holyclothing Pvt. Ltd., P.O. Box No. 6, H-201, Sector-63, Noida-201301 (U.P.), INDIA.
- All returns must be sent via Post to India. Due to customs fees, we cannot accept returns by courier.
- You must include your email address, plus specific reason for the return (I.E. “Too Big”). Refund can be delayed significantly if you do not include this information. Refunds are processed within 2-5 business days of receipt.
Q. I have a defective garment, what should I do?
A. In the rare circumstance where we you receive a defective garment, you will be entitled to a refund of your entire transaction amount.
- If your garment has a physical defect or if the measurements of the Chest, Waist, Hips, Arm-Hole or Length deviate (plus or minus) more than 1" from the measurements listed in the item description - please contact our customer service department for a Return Authorization Number (RAN). If your RAN is approved, you will receive a special refund of your garment purchase price plus shipping/insurance.
